Official: 1 dead, 1 wounded in shooting outside of Maryland high school

BELTSVILLE, Maryland -- An official says one person has been killed and another wounded in a shooting outside of a high school in suburban Washington.
The shooting took place outside of High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland,CBS affiliate WUSA reported.
Fire department spokesman Mark Brady says the wounded person suffered injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. He provided the information in a recording on his voicemail and referred questions to county police.
According to police, the shooting appears domestic in nature, WUSA reported.
Both victims are believed to be adults between the ages of 40 and 50, a spokesperson said.
On their official Twitter feed, police say the victim who was fatally shot was an adult female. The surviving victim, who was also shot, was a man.
